On 15th and 16th October 2012 a seminar on topic: Promoting the Cooperation for Developing the Agricultural Industry in the Cross-border Region: Haskovo, Bulgaria – Uzunkopru, Turkey - took place. The seminar was attended by around 40 representatives of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises and agricultural producers from both regions. The seminar was organized as part of the Uzunkopru Agriculture Industry Improvement Project - CFCU/TR0703.01-02/FA which is being implemented by Uzunkopru Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the Haskovo CCI. The participants in the seminar were presented information about the current trade relations between Bulgaria and Turkey, the development of the Agriculture in the cross-border region, as well as, about the opportunities for exchange of experience and know-how in this sector. The event ended with B2B meetings between the Bulgarian and Turkish entrepreneurs.
