30.05.2014 Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a work meeting with the Hon. Bunia Saptomo - Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia and the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy Mr. Pranovo Pravirokusumo.

On 30^th May 2014 Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a work meeting with the Hon. Bunia Saptomo - Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia and the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Embassy Mr. Pranovo Pravirokusumo. The meeting was opened by Yancho Yanev, Chairman of the Board of HCCI.

Mr. Pranovo Pravirokusumo made a presentation of the Indonesian economy and prospects for trade and economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Indonesia.

The event was attended by the mayors of municipalities and representatives of companies and media from Haskovo district. The possibilities for import and export of goods from and to Indonesia were discussed. Tobacco and coriander - these are the two of the most demanded crops for the export from Bulgaria to Indonesia. Indonesian diplomats recommended Bulgarian business to focus on Indonesian high quality rubber and palm oil.  Moreover, in recent years Indonesia is conquering markets in the electronics and cars.

Participants were familiarized with the conditions for participation in the business mission to Indonesia to visit the World Expo "Indonesian resources" in October this year in Jakarta.
