11.05.2017 Delegation from the Ninevah Province Council, Mosul was on the first visit in Haskovo region

On 11th of May, delegation led by Saido Hasso, deputy chairman of Ninevah Province Council, Mosul, Iraq, visited the town of Haskovo by the invitation of the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This is the first visit of a delegation from Mosul to Bulgaria to promote economic cooperation. The delegation was accepted at working meeting by Velin Balkanski, Deputy Mayor of Haskovo Municipality. The participants in the delegation met with representatives of companies - members of the HCCI. Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yancho Yanev presented the Haskovo region and the opportunities for business partnership. Mr. Mohammed Al-Mashhadani – Chairman of the Ninevah Chamber of Commerce and Industry took a part in the delegation from Mosul, with whom HCCI signed a cooperation agreement. The visit of the guests from Mosul ended with a visit to the resort village of Mineralni Bani, district of Haskovo. Under a program organized by the HCCI the following day, delegation held meetings at the Ministry of Economy, the Bulgarian Investment Agency and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
