Regarding to the tragic events in municipality Harmanli and declared national mourning day, the chairmen of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Tzvetan Simeonov and the Haskovo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Yancho Yanev decided to cancel the traditional celebration of the Feast of the winegrower and this year's business meetings.
Part of the funds intended for the traditional event will be redirected to a targeted fund raising campaign to assist flood victims- inhabitants of the region. With an official letter BCCI appeals all invited to the Feast of Wine to make a donation in their abilities to the fund account of the Bulgarian Red Cross, opened for the victims of the flood.
BCCI and HCCI remains available to assist in improving of the infrastructure of the region of floods now and later with consultation about project applications for funding new initiatives and other activities related to protection and prevention of population against natural disasters and catastrophes.
